Service Description

With support from Participaction and the Government of Canada we are offering free rowing for ages 12 and up. Come out and learn all about rowing! What you’ll learn – basic rowing stroke on the rowing machine, rowing terminology, setting up the boats, basic rowing stroke on the water, turning and steering, keeping time with others, water safety and much more What to wear – layers, warm socks, ball cap or toque, nothing too baggy or loose (think tights or slim sweats), nothing with pockets or full front zippers What to bring – water bottle, running shoes, sunglasses
